Urgent project in April 2025
and the rest of the year
(page in English)
Topic
Organization of assistance to families living near Chernobyl in areas with radiation contamination, to create an ecological garden and grow clean vegetables in 2025.

Target groups
More than 60 rural schools in the western region of Russia (they grow vegetables in school gardens for school canteens), large families, small farmers (more than 3,000 residents).

People involved
Members of an active group consisting of scientists, doctors, teachers, students. We began this activity in 1986, immediately after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. We received thematic training in the USA on the programs "Women against Plutonium" and the development of organic farming; we received household radiation dosimeters in 1990-1996.

Constant volunteer activity, use of personal cars, accommodation in our own tents during monitoring expeditions and holding training seminars for residents of the radiation area. We annually conduct and pay for scientific experiments on the maximum efficiency of using each method of organic farming. We wrote books to inform the public: "Man, protect yourself from radiation" and "Invite earthworms to your garden" (in Russian and English). They are on electronic media.

Relevance and justification for urgent activities in the spring of 2025
Our personal long-term research has shown that there are free ecological methods that help reduce the accumulation of radionuclides by 4 times in vegetables, cereals and legumes grown in areas with radiation contamination. There are separate methodological recommendations for biointensive, biodynamics, F-V Steinmeier's methods, the use of wild earthworms, deep ecology practices and others.

Unfortunately, in the winter of 2024-2025 all the household radiation dosimeters that we received in 1990 completely broke down (crumbled into crumbs). Urgently, before the start of the agricultural season, we need to buy at least 20 new household radiation dosimeters or completely repair the old dosimeters (that is, create a number of working ones from the remaining parts of 100 of our broken dosimeters). In this case, we will be able to give 1 dosimeter to each of three schools (three neighboring villages) for free rent for monitoring during work in the gardens. In addition, we plan to publish at least 60 of each of our books on paper. Working with materials on paper is much more convenient for rural residents.

1. Repair of 1 household radiation dosimeter: 35-40 euros
2. Purchase of 1 new dosimeter 100-120 euros
3. Printing of 1 book – 10-20 euros
4. Conducting 1 monitoring expedition and drawing up a map-scheme of radiation contamination for each village – 150 euros
5. Conducting 1 training seminar and master class on all methods of organic farming -- 3 days for 10-15 participants: 100 euros.
So we urgently need your help!
Any donation will enable us to help rural residents affected by the Chernobyl accident to prepare clean vegetables for 2025-2026.

More than 3000 people will receive your help.
We are ready to teach you our methods of ecological gardening and to clean the soil from heavy metals and radionuclides.
